Citizen Soldier explores topics on military history and current affairs through interviews and discussion with experts, scholars, military personnel, veterans, and authors. Airing on Chicago's WTTW-Channel 11, each episode of Citizen Soldier is recorded before a live studio audience and produced in-house by the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.

Season 2 features ten short, content-rich episodes on military history and affairs, with guests including Pritzker Literature Award winners Antony Beevor, Rick Atkinson, and Tim O'Brien; retired four-star Air Force General Michael V. Hayden, and USS Pueblo executive officer Edward Murphy, Jr.
