WWII Times Square V-J Day Kiss Metal Bookmark
$13.25
When U.S. president Harry Truman declared the end of the war with Japan on August 14, 1945, there were spontaneous acts of joy throughout the United States. In Times Square a sailor grabbed a nurse and gave her a big kiss. Captured on film by both the U.S. Navy photo journalist Victor Jorgensen and Alfred Eisenstaedt it is the inspiration for this bookmark.
